We'll get to the root of Petey's problems. Why he's the villain, in every Dog Man book. Well, this time it's different. Petey's the good guy. We'll also meet his childhood friends, who want their revenge with a giant Robo-Brontosaurus. And Petey will fight back with the power of knock-knock jokes, in Flip-O-Rama. Will the power of good arise or will Petey stay his rotten old self?  This book is very funny. Something I always enjoy about Dog Man books is Lil Petey (he's my favourite character). He always does this thing where he says "why" after everything. Here's an example from the book.  Lil Petey is never mad or angry. He is always happy and innocent. He makes many jokes that are always HILARIOUS!   I also really love Flip-O-Rama scenes,  Dav Pilkey always has Flip-O-Rama's in his books. I think that the police or SWAT team harmed the woman laying on the ground. I think that these women are protesters, they might be protesting for land or water. I think that this photographer stands up for women's rights or is a feminist. I honestly love this photograph. It shows someone in a dress and holding a basketball. I feel like it has a deeper meaning than just a really nice dress. It shows that girls can do things that are usually defined as “boy” things. Gender is how society defines if your a boy or a girl. It’s different from being biologically male or female. But in the United States, it might soon mean the same. On Monday, October 22nd the Trump administration wants to change the definition of gender. Lots of people spoke out to this memo, including Diana Flynn who is one of the leaders at Lambda Legal. Lambda Legal is a group which fights for LGBTQ rights.  "For years, courts across the country have recognized that discriminating against someone because they are transgender is a form of sex discrimination," Flynn says. Many other people also spoke out at a news event. Mara Keisling, a leader of the National Center for Transgender Rights, spoke with many other activists. So, on Wednesday the 17th, our class and the other ATP class went on an amazing trip! We went to Bonnie Brae to explore BMI's and the stream. Once we got to our location, we started right away (since we were a bit late). We got into groups and headed down to the stream. My group was Kira, Jasjit, Navita, Urvi, Simar and me. Navita and Kira went into the stream first. Once they had collected the sample they had to put it through the sift (that way you could see if there were any BMI's). I had to clean the sift with water. The water was FREEZING cold, which did not make anything easier. On top of THAT, it started to HAIL. So now I was freezing cold with ice pouring onto of my head. Anyways after that, we did some chemistry. Thankfully it stopped hailing so at least now there wasn't ice hitting my head. On an island far away live the evilest villains on the planet. To make sure magic doesn't reach the island an invisible dome was built over the island. Maleficent, Jafar, The Evil Queen and Cruella de Vil are raising the most rotten villains when those villains get an invitation to attend a school outside the island they accept the invitation. Those same rotten villains choose the side of good. When Maleficent broke open the dome and got out it was up to Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos to stop her. Mal defeated Maleficent by transforming her into a lizard. Life in Auradon is terrific, after defeating her mother Mal was considered a hero. The hero sat in the library studying as her mother was harmlessly sitting behind closed doors. All of a sudden the floor begins to shake, as it does quite often. Imagine being deaf and blind, with no one understand standing your needs or wants. All you can do is scream. That's the story of Helen Keller.  The story starts in 1887 when Anne Sullivan arrives at Ivy Green. Helen has a very aggressive attitude. D-o-l-l Anne spells into Helen's hand while she holds a doll in her other. Anne decides to teach Helen like this. The only problem is her attitude. She bites, scratches and kicks. Anne tries her best to teach Helen. Day by day, Helen grows more obedient and caring.  This book is amazing and I would recommend it to everyone. It is the miracle of learning.
